On this day, 15 September 2025, Apple has officially dropped the stable update of iOS 26 with burgeons of features and design changes for the iPhone. The front desk of the highlight clearly rests with the Liquid Glass Theme that imbibes the touch of a fluid, futuristic one onto the iOS interface.
Ahead of the iPhone 17 series launch, Apple confirmed that iOS 26 would be released globally on September 15, 2025. The update is now rolling out in phases across supported devices.
Liquid Glass Theme
The standout feature of iOS 26 is the Liquid Glass Theme, which introduces:
- Fluid animations with depth effects.
- Adaptive lock screen time display that blends with chosen wallpapers.
- Redesigned app icons with light and dark modes.
- Dynamic in-app controls that refract and reflect surrounding colors.

How to Download & Install iOS 26
Once the update is available in your region:
- Open Settings → General.
- Tap Software Update.
- Select Download and Install iOS 26.
- Wait for installation to complete — your iPhone will reboot with the new features.
